Join us as a Digital Champion and get free training and support in how to help others take those first steps to using a computer and getting online.

Get Online Week Events

We are very pleased to say that the Get Online Week events have been going very well indeed.  On Tuesday, Babcock Marine ran successful one hour courses on e-bay and Money saving, finalising with continuing Online Basics courses for employees.

Wednesday, Pathfinder was privileged to spend the day with the fantastic staff at ASDA in Bideford, promoting the benefits of being online through the Price Guarantee Check facility.  We spoke to lots of very interesting people (more like pounced on them whilst they were trying to finish their shopping!) asking them if they had used the internet before and then giving them a helping hand with how to Price Guarantee Check their shopping.  We hope to be able to do more of this with ASDA.

Yesterday (Thursday) we were at Bideford Job Centre where again, we were very lucky to meet people who were new to the internet or struggling with some aspect of using the internet and / or email.  Use of the internet and email is particularly crucial to job seekers so this was a very productive day.

Saturday will see us at PC World in Barnstaple, promoting the benefits of being online to customers.   Please pop in and see us.  We can show you how to use the internet and email.
